The Lift Off Story:
In June 2000, David and Ann Keith were among the first to introduce Red Bull Energy Drink to the Mid-Atlantic. They began their journey with just one truck, three employees, and 1,200 square feet of warehouse space. Their first pallet of Red Bull arrived at their small storage unit in Silver Spring, where Lift Off would start selling to Washington D.C.’s local nightclub and restaurant scene. This marked the birth of the Energy category in MD/VA/DC, and business was poised to explode. By the end of 2000, driven by a strong belief in treating people with respect, the Lift Off team had grown to 19 full-time employees.
Today, this team-centric philosophy remains unchanged. We take pride in delivering “wings” to the Mid-Atlantic. Thanks to the dedication of over 200 Lift Off team members, we bring energy to those who need it throughout Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia.
